eLOCKER Rental Agreement
Party A: Storeasy Self Storage Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as the Lessor)
Party B: (hereinafter referred to as the Lessee), the Lessee is the facility’s user and consumer, while the Lessor is the owner and service provider. Both parties agree to the following terms and conditions regarding the rental of eLOCKERs:
Article 1 Rental Items
- Rental Items: The Lessee agrees to rent the eLOCKER designated by the Lessor for the selected duration of use.
Article 2 Fees and Payment Methods
- Rental Fees: The rental fees shall be calculated according to the fee schedule announced by the Lessor, and the Lessee shall settle the rent payment before the start of the rental period.
- Other Fees: By choosing the no-deposit scheme, the Lessee agrees to authorize the Lessor to store the Lessor’s card number and payment method through the TapPay online payment gateway and agrees to pay the related document processing fees charged by the Lessor.
- Payment Methods: The Lessee can make online payments through a mobile application or pay in cash or by credit card at the Lessor’s designated business location.
- If the Lessee returns the eLOCKER before the selected rental period expires, the Lessor will not refund the unused portion of the rent. However, suppose the Lessee terminates the lease and returns the eLOCKER at least 24 hours before the selected period expires. In that case, the Lessor will refund the Lessee based on the actual fees paid by the Lessee, deducting the fees and service charges calculated based on the original price per hour/day. The refund will be made to the Lessee in 7 business days.
- In the event that the Lessee fails to return the eLOCKER on time, the Lessor will calculate overdue rent based on the number of hours overdue. If the overdue period is less than 1 hour, it will be charged as 1 hour, and an additional 30% of the overdue rent will be charged as an overdue fee. The Lessee must settle the overdue rent and fee before the eLOCKER can be opened. This clause does not apply if the Lessee is less than five minutes overdue.
Article 3 Prohibited Items
- To ensure public safety and hygiene, the Lessee shall not store living organisms, explosives, illegal items, flammable or corrosive substances, and perishable food in the eLOCKER. The Lessor reserves the right to open and inspect the eLOCKER if necessary and photograph the contents as evidence. If the Lessee violates the aforementioned provision, and it is confirmed, the Lessor has the right to immediately terminate the lease without refunding the rent.
- The eLOCKER does not substitute for a bank-safe deposit box. Valuable items such as cash, antiques, jewelry, securities, and artworks (excluding items with a unit price of less than NT$3,000, such as paintings and sculptures) should not be stored in the eLOCKER. The Lessee shall bear the risk of loss or damage to any prohibited items placed in the eLOCKER, whether it violates this contract or the law, and the Lessor shall not be responsible for any compensation.
Article 4 Lessee’s Responsibilities
- The Lessee shall pay the rent at the start of the lease, and the rent shall be calculated based on the selected duration of use. Overdue rent and overdue fees shall be calculated as specified in Article 2, Clause 5.
- The Lessee shall use and maintain the eLOCKER with due care and diligence. Any violation shall result in additional liability for damages.

- The Lessee shall be responsible for the proper closure and locking of the eLOCKER after each use. Failure to do so may result in unauthorized access to the contents, and the Lessee shall be held accountable for any resulting loss or damage.
- The Lessee shall not share, assign, or sublet the eLOCKER to any third party without the prior written consent of the Lessor.
- The Lessee shall promptly inform the Lessor of any malfunction, damage, or loss of the eLOCKER. The Lessee shall not attempt to repair or modify the eLOCKER without the explicit permission of the Lessor.
- The Lessee shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines regarding the use of the eLOCKER, including but not limited to those related to the storage of personal belongings and prohibited items.
Article 5: Lessor’s Responsibilities
- The Lessor is responsible for properly maintaining the eLOCKER and ensuring its normal operation.
- In the event that the Lessee is unable to use the eLOCKER due to the Lessor’s actions or omissions, the Lessor shall bear the corresponding responsibility and provide compensation. The compensation amount shall be calculated based on the actual cash value of the stored items (after deducting depreciation), with a maximum limit of three thousand dollars.
- The Lessor shall not be held accountable for any disruptions in the normal use of the eLOCKER caused by natural disasters or unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.
Article 6: Lessee’s Personal Data
- The Lessee agrees to provide their personal data to the Lessor for the purpose of managing, operating, and providing services related to the eLOCKER.
- The Lessee consents to the Lessor’s use of their personal data for marketing, promotional, and market research activities.
- The Lessor is obligated to safeguard the confidentiality of the Lessee’s personal data and shall not disclose, sell, or transfer it to any third party.
Article 7: Termination and Amendment of the Contract
The Lessor reserves the right to modify the terms of this contract at any time and will notify the Lessee of such changes through the Lessor’s website. By continuing to use the eLOCKER, the Lessee is deemed to have accepted the new terms of the contract.
Article 8: Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from this contract shall be resolved through negotiation. If the parties fail to resolve through negotiation, the Taipei District Court in Taiwan shall have jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
Article 9: Miscellaneous
- Matters not explicitly addressed in this contract shall be handled in accordance with relevant laws and common practices.
- The Chinese version of this contract shall be the official text. In the event of any discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
- This contract shall become effective when the Lessor proposes it online, and the Lessee confirms and accepts the contract terms online.
